Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the board exam of class 12th and 10th were cancelled. So exam were not taken? So now What is the basis of the evaluation of the students? On which basis marks will be alloted to the marks will be alloted?
So 80% of the marks will be alloted on the basis of the students performance in their previous class. Means for class 10th students 80% marks will be alloted on the basis of their 9th performance. And for the 12th class students 11th class marks will be considered for their 80% of their result.
In 2020 for both class 9th and 11th class objective based exams of 40 marks were conducted, for each subject. So suppose: A student who had scored 30 marks in Social Studies in 9th would get 60 marks in his class 10th exam. Same is applicable for each and every subject. In the same way class 12th students will be evaluated too.
Now 20% marks will be given either by practical exams or by internal assessment. This assessment will be carried out by one external and one internal teacher for each subjects in each schools. You can check you result from Digilocker. Digilocker is a official government website which stores all your important documents in the digital format. The results downloaded from Digilocker is your digital marksheet and is completely valid. In this your marksheet is digitally signed by the concerned authorities.
To check the Jac board result through Digilocker. Follow these steps.
1. Download Digilocker app from playstore.
2. Once you download the app and opens it. Then this interface will come in front of you. Click on Get started.
3. Now if you have already have an account made on this app then simply click on login. If you don’t have any account in this app then Click on create account. Create you account by filling all the details.
Note: If you had made your account in Digilocker and you have forgotten its security pin. Then you can again set you pin by clicking the “forget security pin“. You will have to enter your aadhar number and date of birth to reset your security pin
4. Once you log in you account. You have to click “browse” option which is available on right hand side. Then search “Jac” on the search bar.
5. Click on Jharkhand State Board as shown in above figure.
6. You can download your marksheet as well as passing certificate from this.
7. Then click on the certificate that you want to download.
8. Enter your roll code and roll number and then select the year by clicking on “Select Year“.Click on Get document to get your certificate.
